THE HYB WAY

Studio Etiquette & Policies

Creating the best possible experience for everyone.

At HYB, we believe the best things happen when you give yourself the space to switch off, move, breathe and be present. Our studio guidelines are here to help everyone feel comfortable, enjoy their practice and get the most out of every class. Nothing complicated - just a few little things that make a big difference to the experience we share. Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your time at HYB.

Let’s talk hot room etiquette :

Your mat, your towel, your water. That's the trio.

Only your mat, towel and water bottle are permitted in the hot room. Please leave all other belongings outside the practice space. Keeping the room clear helps everyone move freely, feel comfortable and enjoy a safe, uncluttered environment.

Time to switch off.

Phones must be left outside the hot room. Your time at HYB is an opportunity to disconnect from everyday distractions, be present and give your practice your full attention. It also helps protect the focus of those around you. If you need to keep your phone with you for a specific reason, such as a medical necessity, please let your teacher know before class begins.

A smooth start to your practice :

We start together, we finish together.

All classes start and finish at their scheduled times. Starting together allows everyone to settle in, follow the teacher's guidance from the beginning and enjoy the full experience. Finishing on time respects everyone's schedule and helps the studio run smoothly throughout the day.

We recommend arriving at the studio 5–10 minutes before your class. This gives you plenty of time to get settled, prepare for your practice and leave the rush of the day behind before you begin.

Our five-minute late arrival policy.

We understand that delays can happen. Arrivals within five minutes of the scheduled class start time may be admitted at the teacher's discretion. After five minutes, entry is no longer permitted.

The opening of class is an important part of the practice. It gives everyone time to settle, connect with their breath and prepare for the session. Late entry can interrupt this process and affect the experience for others in the room. Arriving on time means you won't miss those important opening moments and can get the most out of your practice.

The little things make the HYB experience :

A shared standard across HYB.

We want HYB to be a place where you can switch off, feel good, challenge yourself and enjoy being part of something special. These simple guidelines help us create the same welcoming, focused and considered experience across every class, with every teacher. By respecting the space and looking after one another, we all play a part in making HYB what it is. Thank you for being part of our community and helping us make every class a great experience for everyone.

Now, roll out your mat, take a breath and enjoy your practice. We've got you.
