  • Which class is best for a total beginner?

Our classes vary in style, intensity and level, each offering a different experience. While the majority of our classes are beginner-friendly, we recommend checking the individual class descriptions to find the best fit for you.

If you’re new to HYB or feeling apprehensive about practising in the heat, we recommend starting with SlowFlow. This class focuses on the foundations of yoga with an emphasis on posture, alignment and mindful movement at a gentler pace.

SlowFlow is a great introduction to both the practice and the heated studio environment, allowing you to move at your own pace, build confidence and become more familiar with the heat. It’s also a lovely option for anyone looking for a slower, more grounding practice, whatever their experience level.

  • What can I expect from Hot Yoga Belfast?

At Hot Yoga Belfast, we believe movement is about more than what your body can do - it’s about how it makes you feel. We offer a range of heated classes, from Hot Yoga to Hot Pilates and Hot HIIT, giving you different ways to move, build strength, challenge yourself and reconnect with your body.

Our experienced, specially trained teachers each bring their own individual style and expertise, making every class a unique experience.

Our classes range from warm to hot, with temperatures reaching up to 42°C depending on the session. We recommend checking individual class descriptions for details on temperature, class style and level. If you’re new to the studio or trying heated classes for the first time, SlowFlow is a great place to begin.

Our 45–60 minute sessions offer time to step away from the outside world, slow down and be fully present. Move at your own pace, listen to your body and give yourself permission to focus on you.

Whether you’re looking to build strength, find stillness or embrace a new challenge, our studio is a space to move with intention, reconnect with yourself and leave feeling that little bit more like you.

  • Your first class at HYB. What to know?

    1. Download & book. Download the #HYB app and book your class.

    2. Pack your essentials. Bring a yoga mat, a long towel and plenty of water. No mat? No worries - we have complimentary mats available at the studio.

    3. Dress for the heat. Opt for lightweight, breathable clothing, such as leggings, shorts or a sports bra.

    4. Arrive early. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your first class to get settled and familiarise yourself with the space. We have a strict five-minute late-entry policy and entry is not permitted after this time.

    5. Fuel & hydrate. Avoid eating a large meal right before class and make sure you’re well hydrated beforehand. For heated classes, electrolytes can also help replenish minerals lost through sweat.

    6. Take it at your own pace. A little reminder for your first class: you don’t have to do it all. Enjoy yourself, slow down and connect with yourself, your body and your breath. Listen to what you need and trust that the rest will come.

  • What's your cancellation policy?

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy for classes.

You can cancel your booking through the #HYB app up to 12 hours before the class start time. If you miss the 12-hour cancellation window, you will be marked as a no-show.

Please note : Cancellations via email, phone, messaging or by contacting teachers privately will not be accepted.

  • What are your membership options?

We offer a range of membership options to suit your needs, including flexible class packs and unlimited memberships. You can find full details and purchase options on the #HYB app.

  • do you offer private group sessions?

Yes, we offer private group sessions. These sessions can be tailored to your group’s needs, making it a fantastic way to enjoy a more personal experience. Whether it’s for a team-building event, a special occasion or just a group of friends wanting to practice together, we’ve got you covered.

Please reach out to us at info@hotyogabelfast.com for more details and to arrange your private session.

  • what if i am late for class?

We start together, we finish together.

We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your class to get settled, prepare for your practice and leave the outside world behind before stepping into the studio.

All classes begin and finish at their scheduled times. The opening moments are an important part of the practice, giving everyone the opportunity to settle in, connect with their breath and become present before moving together.

We understand that delays happen so arrivals within five minutes of the scheduled start time may be admitted at the teacher’s discretion. After five minutes, entry is no longer permitted.

For Sculpt classes, late entry is strictly limited to the first five minutes. The warm-up is an essential part of the class, preparing your body for the work ahead, and for safety reasons, we cannot admit anyone once this has been missed.

Arriving on time allows you to fully experience the class from beginning to end, while respecting the space and experience of everyone practising alongside you.

  • Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own mat. If you don’t have one, we’ve got you covered with complimentary studio mats - we just ask that you wipe them down after use.

We highly recommend bringing a long towel to cover your mat, as things can get sweaty in the heat! Don’t forget to bring plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated throughout your practice.

  • Can I take more than one heated class in a day?

Your safety and wellbeing always come first so we have a few guidelines for taking multiple classes in our hot room.

We do not permit triple classes in one day. If you choose to double up, your first class must be a 60- or 75- class, followed by a 45-minute class or SlowFlow. While this is permitted within our guidelines, we encourage you to focus on one class per day where possible. Recovery is an essential part of progress and one strong, focused session can often be more beneficial than two.

If combining Hot Yoga with Sculpt by HYB, Sculpt must always be taken first. Hot Yoga followed by Sculpt is not permitted for safety reasons.

Listen to your body, stay hydrated and remember that your practice is about finding balance, not pushing beyond your limits.

  • Can I bring my phone into the hot room or Sculpt classes?

Phones are not permitted in our hot room or Sculpt studio. Your practice is an opportunity to disconnect from the outside world, be present and enjoy a little time away from screens.

Recording and photography inside both spaces are strictly prohibited to protect the privacy, comfort and experience of everyone in class.

Take this time for yourself, switch off and be fully present.

  • Why is it important to respect Savasana?

Savasana is an important part of the practice, offering a moment to rest, reset and absorb the benefits of your class.

When Savasana is in progress, please keep noise to a minimum in the foyer and surrounding areas to help maintain a peaceful environment for everyone. Thank you for respecting this time and allowing others to finish their practice feeling calm, grounded and reconnected.
